PRACTICING RECONCILIATION IN A FRACTURED WORLD

Wednesday nights, 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
February 21, 28, March 7, 14, 21

guest speakers include Katherine Jefferts Schori, the 26th Presiding Bishop of The United States

Whether it’s our own spouse after an argument or a friend we’ve lost touch with, the stranger in the pew behind us or the “other” whom we just as soon avoid, our fundamental call as Christians is to join God’s mission of reconciliation; to be peacemakers. That baptismal call means learning to listen in new ways, to see with fresh eyes, and to encounter the other with open hearts and open minds. Practicing reconciliation also means dying to our old fears and our old assumptions so that we might rise to a new way of being with one another. It’s not easy, but they are the essential habits of the risen life. Join us for what will be a fun but also challenging series, as we learn new skills and new practices that can transform our relationships and change the world.

All welcome! Children's programming for ages 4-10. Nursery care available by request, please contact Alex Howard
