Choral Evensong is an informal name for the sung service of Evening Prayer in the Anglican tradition. It is based on the monastic offices of prayer of the Medieval English Church and was incorporated into the first Book of Common Prayer in 1549. Today Evensong is enjoyed around the world as a beautiful, contemplative service celebrating the end of the day and filled with prayer and music.
Join the choir of St. Bartholomew's as we gather and spend time in prayer while listening and participating in music that is especially selected to bring us into deeper understanding of the mysteries of our faith.
