We invite you to join us on Sundays between worship services for thought-provoking community conversations. We'll explore a new topic every Sunday. You'll leave the conversation with new ideas to live through during the week.

Look for the Zoom link and password on the Weekly News sent to your email inbox. If you don't receive the Weekly News, subscribe here.

This Sunday's Topic:

A Beginning Conversation on Race—How Do We Start?
The brutal death of George Floyd by a police officer has opened up the long simmering wound of systemic racism. As Christians committed to following the way of Jesus, we know we have to engage in the often difficult work of looking at racism in this country but feel ill-equipped to do so. The conversation this Sunday is only a beginning of this work and will ask us to consider our own racial autobiography: our own racial identity, how we learned about racial difference, and how it mattered. Using group norms from the book study as our guide for a safe space, Waking Up White please join Canon Allisyn, along with others in the study, to begin this conversation knowing it is just that. A beginning. Use this Zoom link to join the conversation (Stbarts60 if you need the password).
