In funeral and memorial services, we give thanksgiving for a life closely linked with ours, express consolation to family and friends in their sorrow, proclaim faith to see the certainty of eternal life, and pray for strength to meet the days ahead. The service brings hope to family and friends. In the words of an old funeral anthem, "The Sun of Righteoussness is gloriously risen, giving light to those who sat in darkness and in the shadow of death."
St. Bart's clergy and staff are here to assist you at the time of loss of a family member. We can pray with you and assist in planning for a celebration of life, including readings and music for the service. Our parish hall, patio and kitchen are available to use for a reception following the service.
Please call (858) 487-2159, to arrange a time to get together.
