Mission
Sunday School Mission
The goal of St. Bart’s Children’s Ministry is to help children deepen their relationship with God, learn about the love of Jesus Christ, and become active members of the St. Bart’s family and the greater Christian community. We provide a learning environment for children ages three through fifth grade where they can explore their spiritual development. Our educators reinforce Christianity in a way that leads to ministry based on the Baptismal Covenant. This group of teachers enthusiastically spreads the Gospel and reinforces its values and direction.
Classes meet in the Education Building at 9:30 am on Sundays. Parents take their children to their respective classrooms prior to church service. Teachers escort children back in to church to join their parents for Communion. Our curriculum is modeled after the Group Publishing Format. In addition, students are guided biweekly in Godly Play.
Sunday School is a priority mission at St. Bart’s. Our team of dedicated volunteer Children’s Ministry Members demonstrates leadership and unconditional love of Christ for your children.
