Order of St. Luke

order of st. lukeThe Order of St. Luke began as a Christian fellowship of clergy and lay people interested in sharing experiences of Jesus' healing ministry in 1932 with the Rev. John Gayner Banks and his wife Ethel Tulloch Banks. They shared dream of drawing all those involved in the healing ministry under the umbrella of a world Christen healing fellowship based on the four Gospels of Jesus Christ.

We Believe
The revival of Christian healing in the church today may be a means of the greatest advance of Christianity in this century. God's healing power operates within the church which is the body of Christ on earth, through its membership.

God works through human channels to do His healing. We must make ourselves fit and willing channels for this work.

Ministers in the order of St. Luke are trained in how to help people in prayer with healing and are available at the end of services to to pray with those who desire to come closer to God and allow Gods healing hand to touch their lives and those of loved ones.
