For web or computer applications that are not printed (PowerPoint, Front Page, etc.), use rgb .jpg files or .gifs that are 72ppi (pixels per inch). For printed applications (newsletters, PageMaker, InDesign, etc.) use 300ppi, cmyk .tif files or .eps files.
