Bringing life to our worship –
Sunday mornings at 9:30 we meet in the Youth Room to praise God in song, and talk to God and each other about the Bible. Then we join the whole congregation for Holy Communion in the church.
Leaders are Matt Gage and Jonathan Fadner.
Bringing faith into our lives –
Wednesday evenings 6:15pm – 8:00pm we meet in the Youth Room to talk about what’s on our minds, have some fun, and plan events that put our faith into practice in the world.
Leaders are Cole Gruberth and Nicole Mosher.
Special Events:
- Kick-off meeting for all-church outreach project. A collaboration between youth and adult ministries. Wednesday, March 26 in the Youth Room at 6:45pm.
Past Events:
- Third Day concert at House of Blues, Wednesday Feb 20th. Meet in Youth Room as usual, then head downtown. Contact Cole ASAP if you can go!
- Happening: A Christian Experience March 7-9, 2008
- Happening is a Christian Renewal Movement for Teenagers (9th – 12th graders). This weekend will be at Green Oak Ranch in Vista, CA.
- Registration deadline is Tuesday, February 26th, so hurry on over to www.edsd.org and look under “events calendar/ current events/ register now”
- Youth-led Compline service after the “Lenten University” talk on March 12th. The theme is ERD and the Millennium Development Goals, so this will really tie in to our hard work for the 30-Hour Famine.
