Announcing the 2026–27 St. Bart’s Music Concert Series!

As our 2025–26 music season draws to a close (with our not-to-be-missed production of Into the Woods just around the corner!), I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you for your continued support of our program—whether through Friends of Music subscriptions, individual ticket purchases, or simply sharing our events with the wider community. Your support makes all of this possible.

I am delighted to share the upcoming 2026–27 music season, which promises another exciting and diverse lineup of events. The season will feature two fully staged Broadway musical concert productions, two large-scale classical masterworks, and a number of special concerts and community events throughout the year.

We begin on September 13 with “Deep Resonance,” a choral concert featuring men’s voices led by Associate Music Director Tim McLellan, presenting a wide-ranging program from Renaissance polyphony to beloved show tunes. On October 11, our free, family-friendly Disney Cabaret Nightreturns, followed by our first major classical masterwork of the season, Brahms’ German Requiem, on November 1. The Christmas season brings our annual Messiah Sing-Along on December 4 and 6, as well as a special presentation of the beloved musical White Christmas in concert, over three performances from December 18 to 20.

In the new year, we welcome back Danielle Evans for her rescheduled evening of pop music and original songs on January 24, followed by our second masterwork of the season, Handel’s Israel in Egypt, on February 28. After Holy Week and Easter, for three performances from April 30 to May 2,we present in concert the contemporary Broadway smash hit Dear Evan Hansen—winner of six Tony Awards and one of the most significant musicals of our time. We conclude the season with a truly special event on May 21: our Italy Tour Choir Farewell Concert and Dinner Fundraiser. This evening will feature a three-course Italian meal prepared by yours truly, alongside beautiful a cappella Renaissance music performed by our choir as they prepare to depart for their Italy Choir Tour just weeks later.

I am genuinely excited to share this season with you, and I hope you are as eager as I am for the year ahead. If you would like to support St. Bart’s music program through a Friends of Music subscription (offered at three giving levels), you can do so at stbartsmusic.org/subscriptions. Thank you, as always, for your support. I look forward to seeing you throughout the season!

Blessings,

Dr. John-Luke Addison
