About the Event

Join us for a guided tour of the Kumeyaay-Ipai Interpretive Center! This center, founded by a partnership with the City of Poway, Friends of the Kumeyaay, and the San Pasqual Band of Indians, honors the lives and work of the thriving community of Native Americans who populated Pauwai (Poway) long before the Spanish arrived. Don’t miss this great opportunity to learn more about the Kumeyaay’s use of natural resources and how they lived in harmony with the land. Comfortable shoes recommended.

The tour is limited to 20 people, so if you’d like to participate, please RSVP to Parth Domke by noon on Friday, September 19. The center will also be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on September 20, if you want to visit a little later and explore on your own.
