The Circle of Camp Life

If you walk near our sanctuary any weekday morning this week and next, you may hear lots of growling! Yes, St. Bart’s “The Lion King” Musical Theatre Camp is in full roar, with 40 campers ages 6-14 years old. Led by our ownpride-filled staff, Anna Lettang and Ella Crane, along with Father Jacob, these young cubs are off to a great, tail-twitching start!

“Camp is always so fun and special,” Anna says, “and this camp is no exception. You can see how the campers come in nervous, but by the second day they already have new and old friends. They are trying new things and are boldly going on stage.”

After 30 hours of practice, these lion-hearted campers will perform selections of the musical at the mane event on Friday, July 17, at 11:15 a.m. in the sanctuary. Come take a paws from your day and pounce on over to join us!
